“Don’t Worry” Buju Banton to served 10 Years in Prison

Wanna be Loved, singer Buju Banton received a 10 year sentence yesterday morning in a Tampa,Florida courtroom.

The Grammy-award winner, Banton whose given name is Mark Myrie, politely accepted his verdict in front of a packed courtroom which included members of his family and supported manager Traci McGregor, and dear friend Reggae artiste, Wayne Wonder.

Other artistes and close friends such as Delly Ranks and Gramps Morgan attempted to enter the courtroom but were turned away due to the crowd.

The Judge, James Moody handed down the ruling in the Sam M Gibbons US Court in Tampa. The Reggae acclaimed artiste will now serve his time the FCI prison facility in Miami.

Last February the Jamaican Reggae star,was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense and using a telephone to facilitate a drug trafficking offense. He was acquitted Assistant U.S. Attorney James Preston argued during trial that Banton portrayed himself as a broker of drug deals in several conversations with a confidential informant. Preston said Banton thought he was getting involved in a "no-risk" deal in which he would introduce a friend to a confidential informant, and then later collect money from drug transactions.of attempted possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.

The International Reggae acclaimed artiste ten year sentence was a sure deal, despite numinous letters from family members pleading for the judge to go easy on the Grammy singer, along with Reggae musician, Stephen Marley & American actor Danny Glover, both close friends of Buju.

Now Buju destiny is at a federal prison in Miami. Where he will not be allowed to record any songs. The Boom Bye Bye singer,is known for countless hit songs such as “Untold Stories,” “Destiny,” “I Wanna Be Loved” and “Optimistic Soul.” He won his first Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2011 for his 2010 album, Before The Dawn & most recently released a single last week on the Jah Army Riddim entitled “Don’t Worry.”

Actor Ryan Dunn Dies in Morning Crash

Ryan Dunn "Jackass" star is pronounce dead following a early Monday morning crash in West Chester suburb of Philadelphia.

According to West Goshen Township Police statement officers found Dunn's 2007 Porsche "off the road and in the Suburban woods." When officials arrived to the scene the posh car was "fully engulfed in flames."


Authorities is still investigating if speed or alcohol may have been a factor.

West Goshen Township Police reported that Both Ryan Dunn and his passenger "died as a result of injuries sustained in the Crash" Cops is gathering information into identify the next body.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Sean Kingston: God is Great!

Some unhappy fans said "Amy we know that you are high on drugs." The rehab singer pissed her fans off, forgetting that she is in Belgrade, Serbia. Amy said "Hello, Athens."

On Sunday, Winehouse canceled planned appearances in Turkey and throughout Europe. A spokesperson explained in a statement. "She would like to apologize to fans expecting to see her at the shows but feels that this is the right thing to do."

Las Vegas- Miss California 21 year-old Alyssa Campanella was crowned Miss USA 2011 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Sunday night and will compete for the title at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant on September 12, in San Paulo Brazil.

After the top four beauty queens answered their final question it was Miss California Alyssa Campanella that wow the judges with her final answer.

Miss California answered a question about legalizing marijuana by saying she didn't think it should be fully legalized as a solution to help ailing economies.

"Well, I understand why that question would be asked, especially with today's economy, but I also understand that medical marijuana is very important to help those who need it medically," she said. "I'm not sure if it should be legalized, if it would really affect, with the drug war. I mean, it's abused today, unfortunately, so that's the only reason why I would kind of be a little bit against it, but medically it's OK."

The 14 year old Brooklyn rapper who's real name is Brian Bradley was the sixth contestant to grace the X Factor stage, seeking a shot at the X Factor US $5 million record deal, the biggest TV deal, thus far in the history of America. The young rapper stun the judges with his stage presentation, positive attitude, and high energy.

Similar to American Idol, the judges asked "why are you here?" The out-spoken "Astro kid" reply that he is a "rapper, and perform on BET 106 & Park, MTV, and made appearances on radio and TV talk-shows." L.A Reid asked "how come you haven't had a record deal? " The confident Kid responded with a high-tone of voice " saying its politics man" sending the entire audience into laughter.
